Marina looked after our two young boys for the first time, and I couldn’t recommend her highly enough. I’m an anxious parent when leaving my children with someone new. With a previous babysitter, I ultimately couldn’t bring myself to leave the house. With Marina, I left after about ten minutes. What changed things was watching her genuinely try to connect with our boys. They didn’t always respond! She didn’t force it or take it personally. She gave them space, waited, then gently tried again. I could see she genuinely wanted to be there and build a relationship with them. That was enough for me to trust her. I asked our three-year-old afterwards how many stars he’d give Marina. With a huge cheeky grin: “No stars!” 😂 For context, that’s the same number Dad gets, so she’s in excellent company. We’re very grateful and will absolutely ask Marina to look after them again. ❤️
